I’m ready to book! What’s the process like?
-
You are interested in getting tattooed! You’ll fill out a booking form to get this process started. I’ll get back to you and we will set up an appointment. Click on the “BOOKING” tab at the top of this page :)
-
We will find a day and time that works for us both. To lock in your appointment time, a $75 deposit is required. This will be applied to the total cost of your tattoo. For more information about deposits and payments, please click on the policies tab.
-
A consultation may be necessary prior to scheduling a tattoo appointment. Consultations occur in person and typically take 15-30 minutes. It’s a place to share about your ideas, potential concerns, and are recommended for complex ideas, big projects like sleeve or back pieces, or cover ups. You can select to have a consultation on your booking form.
-
A day before your appointment: Hydrate, eat fulfilling meals, avoid alcohol, avoid blood thinners, and get a good night of rest.
On the day of your appointment: shower, be sure to eat before, and come in comfy clothes. Depending on where you are getting tattooed, you may have to get creative with what you wear. For example, if you are getting your back tattooed, I recommend wearing a flannel or zip up hoodie that you can wear backwards during your appointment; or for a sternum piece you may also want to bring a flannel or button up that you can wear open as I am tattooing your torso.
Feel free to bring anything else that may make you feel comfortable—headphones, snacks, a blanket. I am a firm believer that tattoo appointments are one of the highest forms of self-care!
-
*Please show up on time, no earlier than 15 minutes prior to your appointment.*
The big day! We will go over the design together and ensure that it’s what you envision. I’ll provide input about placement and any education necessary. You’ll get comfy and I’ll get to the artwork!
You can take this time to rest, chat, or put in headphones and catch up on your favorite show. Every client is different and I’ll be a chameleon throughout the process. This is your self-care day, so I’ll be here to provide water, candy, and a bad-ass tattoo.

You did it and that new tatt makes you look so much cooler (not that you didn’t already look cool, but you know what I mean). Treat that fresh tattoo with care! Be sure to check out the aftercare form if needed. You can reach out to me through instagram (@dogtoothtattoos) or email (dogtoothtattoos@gmail.com) with any questions.
I am currently tattooing at The Art Collective, nestled in the sunny city of Redding, California. This lovely space is located at 2205 California St, Redding, CA 96001. See you there!

“I’ve gotten a few tatts done by Zoe and I cannot recommend her enough! She has brought my vision for my sleeve to life and is just so cool to hang out with (while she makes you look soooo cool!)”
“The best!! Honestly my favorite tattoo experiences. Can’t wait for more!”
“Zoe has done phenomenal work on my cover-ups, and a sleeve which I love! Great with free hand, shading, and line work. She will take basic ideas and make them work for you.”
“Very patient with me being unsure about placement. Good comfortable vibes for sure!”
